The special train headcode 2Z01 arrived into Bridlington approx. 30 minutes late due to brake valve failure at Bempton. After repairs at Bridlington it carried on its journey approx. 1 1/2 hours late. The route was York - Scarborough - Bridlington - Hull - Pontefract - Goole - Doncaster - Derby.
